Safety Trainer
Hello, thanks for giving me this great opportunity. I consider myself a lifelong learner, and will always keep learning as long as I am in the workplace. I retired from the oil and gas industry, where I observed many preventable accidents. I decided
Thanks for giving me the opportunity. I have been around the health and safety profession for a few decades in the workplace. My certifications were not issue until 2015, when I got the opportunity to attend the classes. I had the opportunity to conduct many safety meetings with my Bachelor of Science in Industrial Safety from a credited university. The safety meetings were once a week for the construction and oil and gas industry. Establishing plans in the health and safety topics has helped my students in acknowledging the change that is taking place in the workplace. The student are aware that change in the workplace can create new foreign hazards. I have trained a variety of Caucasians and Latinos in the OSHA-10-30 on construction and general industry. My recent training has been forklift/rough terrain where it was consistence for a year. Training drivers in the oil and gas industry was a challenge where new hazards were confronted daily. I never had a certificate to train in that profession, but my safety history with the organization qualified me to train the semi  drivers. My plans is to work hard in the health and safety profession and become certified in other safety topics, where I can make a difference in the workplace and community. I understand there is a big demand for safety trainers, and I feel prepared to go beyond on working with the diversity and intergenerational  population. My safe working and educational background has prepared me to meet the health and safety needs of today's organizations. My curriculum in the classroom is not always the same, since I always, with the student's consent need to know their level of their understanding of the workplace hazards. I always work with students that are slow learners and make sure they understand the safety topics that are presented in the classroom. I understand and agree that it is my responsibility that all my students learn and understand the fundamentals of the training.
