Steve Abbott is the owner of Stark Safety Consultants, a consulting and engineering firm started in 1996 which provides complete solutions for electrical safety programs and electrical system engineering analysis services. His staff of systems analyst’s and professional engineers along with experienced data collection supervisors have over 100 years of combined experience in providing complete electrical safety programs and assisting other companies in completing arc flash evaluations.Steve has been involved with electrical safety training and program consulting since 1992 and his passion for helping companies achieve the best electrical safety programs possible has allowed his company to grow to service all parts of the US and surrounding countries. He has served as a member of the Builders Exchange of East Central Ohio’s safety committee from 2001-2011 and the Western Stark County Safety Council, NECA Incident Energy Task Group, and IBEW Local 540 Negotiation and LMCC and apprenticeship committees.Steve is currently professional member of numerous affiliations including the American Society of Safety Engineers, National Safety Council, IEEE, NFPA and has been a Certified Safety Training Specialist and Safety Planning Specialist through the National Association of Safety Professionals, an OSHA outreach instructor for over 20 years. In 2006 Stark Safety Consultants became a national training partner with the Electrical Training Alliance…formerly the NJATC (National Joint Apprentice Training Committee) With Steve assisting in the NFPA 70E Train the Trainer Courses around the country and in 2010 was asked to be on the NJATC National NFPA 70E advisory committee.2013 Steve and his company,started their new online platform REALTIMEais.com. A cloud-based tool solving 2 key trouble points: The focus was to make things more instantly up to date and readily available to all who need it. cut down on way too many programs needed to keep things up to date and current. Created by Steve Abbott's experience in the electrical contracting industry over 30 years ago, all of the available tools in REALTIMEAIS are from the ideas and experiences encountered by the many customers Steve has been able to connect with and help in his consulting work.
